Description
Preserve, Protect & Present with Premium Mylar Bags
Unmatched Protection for Sensitive Products
If your product is sensitive to UV light, oxygen, or moisture, Custom mylar bags offer the perfect solution. Made from thick, food-grade PET, aluminum, and LDPE layers, these vacuum-sealed pouches act as a powerful barrier—keeping the contents fresh, dry, and protected during storage or transit. Whether you’re packaging pharmaceuticals, snacks, cosmetics, or dry ingredients, these bags provide commercial-level protection and unmatched durability.
Eco-friendly kraft mylar bag option: Prefer a natural, paper-forward look? Choose our kraft mylar structures—an exterior kraft layer paired with a high-barrier inner film—to maintain low OTR/MVTR while reducing visible plastic and delivering a warm, sustainable aesthetic. For brands prioritizing end-of-life, we also offer foil-free high-barrier and mono-PE kraft-look films designed for simplified recycling (store-drop-off, where accepted).
Custom Branding for Maximum Impact
At PuffSticker, we offer full customization on Mylar pouches—letting you print your brand’s logo, colors, contact information, and product details right on the packaging. With crisp printing and a premium finish, these bags not only protect the product but also elevate your brand presence. Their reusable nature means customers will interact with your brand again and again, increasing long-term visibility and recall.
On kraft: Your artwork pops on natural kraft with matte or soft-touch finishes. Request water-based/soy inks, low-VOC primers, and solventless lamination. Prefer the paper look with product visibility? Add a clear or frosted window without sacrificing barrier performance.
Versatile & Industry-Proven
Trusted across industries—from food and wellness to cosmetics and tech—our Mylar bags are ideal for both B2B and direct-to-consumer use. Their thick, puncture-resistant construction and airtight seal extend shelf life, reduce waste, and keep items safe. They’re an ideal choice for businesses that prioritize quality and sustainability.
Kraft use cases: Coffee and tea (with optional degassing valves), artisanal snacks, botanicals, bath salts, powdered supplements, and refill packs all benefit from the kraft + high-barrier combo. For sustainability goals, we can explore aluminum-free barrier films and recyclable mono-PE kraft-look structures (availability varies by region).
Customization Made Easy
Our website offers a seamless web-to-print process—simply upload your design, select your preferred size, shape, and finish (matte, glossy, metallic, or even holographic), and we’ll take care of the rest. PuffSticker.com ensures fast turnaround and secure delivery so you receive high-quality barrier pouches ready to ship your product in style.
Kraft Eco-friendly Mylar choices (quick guide):
Structures: Kraft/PET/PE (workhorse), foil-free high-barrier kraft, or mono-PE kraft-look for store-drop-off programs where accepted.
Formats: Stand-up (Doypack), side-gusset, flat, box-bottom; sample to bulk sizes.
Features: Resealable zippers, tear notches, hang holes, rounded corners, clear/frosted windows, valves (coffee).
Compliance: Food-contact safe inks/adhesives; batch coding support.
Eco & Biodegradable Options — What’s Actually Green?
1) “Kraft Mylar” (paper/PET or paper/metallized PET/PE):
Best for: Maximum barrier + natural kraft look.
End-of-life: Typically not biodegradable or curbside-recyclable due to mixed layers. If recyclability is your target, choose our mono-PE kraft-look films designed for store-drop-off streams (where available).
Why it’s eco-friendlier than standard foil: Lower aluminum usage (foil-free builds), solventless lamination, water-based inks, and lightweighting options to reduce material use.
2) Compostable “Kraft” Pouches (paper + compostable film):
Materials: Kraft laminated to compostable biopolymers such as PLA/PBAT blends or cellulose-based films.
Claims: Can be labeled “industrially compostable” when built and certified to standards (e.g., OK compost INDUSTRIAL / BPI).
Performance: Great for dry goods and moderate shelf-life; lower heat tolerance and more moisture sensitivity than PET. For very oily, high-aroma, or long-shelf-life products, ask us to evaluate special coatings or consider a high-barrier recyclable path instead.
End-of-life messaging: Use “Compostable in industrial facilities where accepted.” Home-compostable builds are possible but require specific structures and testing.
3) Recyclable “Kraft-Look” Mono-Material (PE):
Look/feel: Paper-like print surface with kraft aesthetics; inner layer is single-resin PE for simplified recycling.
End-of-life: Store-drop-off compatible in regions that accept PE films.
Trade-offs: Excellent for recyclability goals; barrier can be very good with advanced coatings, but may not match full foil performance for extremely oxygen-sensitive products.
4) Bio-Based vs. Biodegradable vs. Recyclable — Know the Difference
Bio-based = made partly from renewable inputs (e.g., corn, sugarcane) but may not be biodegradable.
Biodegradable/Compostable = breaks down under specific conditions (often industrial compost); not necessarily recyclable.
Recyclable = designed for mechanical recycling (e.g., mono-PE). Mixed laminates are usually not.
Feature Add-Ons for Eco Builds
Compostable zippers & valves: Available for select structures (coffee).
PCR content: Add post-consumer recycled content to reduce virgin resin use (for recyclable builds).
Inks & coatings: Water-based/soy inks, low-VOC primers, and vegetable-based overprints.
Windows: Clear/frosted windows in compostable cellulose or recyclable PE; we’ll balance visibility and barrier.
Lightweighting: Dial thickness to hit shelf-life targets with least material possible.
Claiming It Right (Labeling Guidance)
Use “Compostable in industrial facilities where accepted” for certified compostable builds.
For recyclable mono-PE, use “Recycle if clean & dry—store drop-off where available.”
Avoid blanket “biodegradable” claims on mixed laminates. We’ll help align your copy with certifications and regional rules to prevent greenwashing.
Sustainability Note
“Kraft mylar” refers to a paper/film laminate. Some builds aren’t curbside-recyclable everywhere. If maximum recyclability is your priority, we’ll recommend mono-PE kraft-look; if maximum barrier is required, we’ll suggest foil-free or metallized PET that balances performance with material efficiency. If your goal is biodegradability/compostability, we’ll guide you to certifiable compostable kraft structures best suited for dry goods and moderate shelf-life.
